Cinnamon Bazaar, part of The Cinnamon Collection led by Executive Chef Vivek Singh, is known for its bold, eclectic interiors inspired by the vibrant markets of India. With established locations in Covent Garden and Dubai, the Richmond opening presented an opportunity to reinterpret the brand within a new architectural context.

Our ambition was to retain Cinnamon Bazaar’s distinctive energy while sensitively adapting it to the character and proportions of the Richmond site - which offered a more intimate spatial experience.

With ceiling heights of just under 2.5 metres, a generous glazed frontage and a substantial external terrace, the design required a careful recalibration of scale and atmosphere. Existing upholstered banquettes in bright colourways provided a strong foundation, naturally aligning with the brand’s colourful aesthetic.

The result is a space that remains unmistakably Cinnamon Bazaar, yet feels considered and contextual — vibrant, layered and immersive, while responding thoughtfully to its surroundings.
